Mumbai: PwC India Announces Leadership Transition in Deals Practice

Mumbai, Mar 31 (TNT): PwC India on Tuesday announced a leadership transition in its Deals practice, with Shashank Jain stepping down from his role as Co-Leader to pursue an opportunity in the industry.

The firm said the Deals business will continue to be led by Mohit Chopra, ensuring continuity in operations and client engagements.

Commenting on the development, Dinesh Arora, Partner and Leader – Advisory, PwC India said Jain had made significant contributions over nearly three decades, particularly in building and strengthening the firm’s Transaction Services practice and supporting clients through complex deals.

The company said the Deals practice remains a key growth driver and is expected to continue expanding under Chopra’s leadership.

Reflecting on his tenure, Shashank Jain said he had an enriching journey at PwC, attributing his growth to the firm’s environment and leadership. He added that he has been working closely with Chopra and the team to ensure a smooth transition.

Jain expressed confidence that the Deals practice will continue to scale new heights under Chopra’s leadership.
