MoS Bandi Sanjay Alleges KTR–Revanth Nexus, Rejects BJP–BRS Alliance

Hyderabad, Mar 29 (TNT): Union Minister of state for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday alleged a nexus between BRS working President K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) and Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, claiming that corruption cases against KTR were not being pursued due to an understanding between them.

Speaking informally with media persons at the BJP state office, Bandi Sanjay alleged that the Chief Minister was acting as a mediator to bring about a reconciliation between KTR and K. Kavitha, while selectively targeting T. Harish Rao.

He claimed that both the Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) were engaged in “collusive politics” and asserted that Revanth Reddy and KTR were “effectively the same”. He alleged that the Chief Minister was showing undue favour towards KTR by not pursuing cases such as the Formula, drugs and farmhouse cases.

He further claimed that efforts were underway to facilitate a political understanding between Congress and BRS, alleging “complete alignment” between KTR and the Chief Minister.

He also alleged that earlier differences between Revanth Reddy and BRS Chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) had subsided, indicating a compromise.

Questioning the focus on the Kaleshwaram project, he asked why only select aspects were being pushed for a Central Bureau of Investigation probe while other alleged corruption cases were ignored.

He claimed that limiting the probe to certain components would target only specific individuals.

He also alleged that the mining scam investigation was merely symbolic and intended to intimidate rather than uncover the full extent of irregularities.

Rejecting speculation, Bandi Sanjay asserted that there would be no alliance between the BJP and BRS, stating that BJP opposes dynastic politics and has consistently fought against what he termed “family rule”.
