Amaravati/Mumbai, Feb 27 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resources and IT, Nara Lokesh met Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt in Mumbai on Friday to discuss the potential for developing a new film city in the State and streamlining approvals for movie shootings.
Posting on X, Lokesh described the meeting as productive and said discussions focused on creating a dedicated film shooting ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh.
He highlighted the possibility of introducing a single-window clearance system to facilitate film production and attract investments in the entertainment sector.
“It was a pleasure to meet the legendary Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt in Mumbai today. We spent time understanding the potential for creating a new film city and a single-window approval process for movie shootings in AP. I’m excited about the possibility of creating the cine shooting ecosystem in AP,” Lokesh said in his post.
