Megastar Chiranjeevi Launches TFJA Diary, Insurance Scheme, and ID Cards

Hyderabad, Mar 28 (TNT): The Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA) continued its annual tradition of releasing a diary for journalists and renewing its insurance scheme on the occasion of the Telugu New Year, with the 2026–2027 edition formally launched by Megastar Chiranjeevi here on Saturday.

In a significant welfare boost, the association enhanced the insurance coverage for each film journalist’s family (2+2) from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh.

Additionally, a special accident policy has been introduced to provide financial assistance during emergencies. Under this scheme, journalists requiring bed rest due to accidents for periods ranging from 2 to 12 months will receive weekly support of ₹10,000.

To strengthen identification and recognition, TFJA also issued official ID cards for Telugu film journalists. Chiranjeevi distributed these ID cards to members of the Executive Committee at the event.

Appreciating the association’s initiatives, Chiranjeevi extended his support by donating ₹5 lakh, recommending that the contribution be utilised for the welfare of TFJA members.

The event was attended by TFJA President Y.J. Rambabu, General Secretary Prasadam Raghu, Treasurer Naidu Surendra, Politburo Convener Varanasi Lakshminarayana, along with Executive Committee and Politburo members.
