Hyderabad , Feb 27 (TNT): Malabar Gold & Diamonds has strengthened its retail footprint in Telangana with the launch of a new showroom in Kokapet here on Friday, taking its total network to 18 outlets in Hyderabad and 26 across the state.The showroom was inaugurated by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC, Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud in the presence of Siraj P.K., Retail Head – Rest of India, and Shareej K., Zonal Head, Hyderabad Zone.
The Kokapet showroom offers an extensive portfolio spanning gold, diamond, platinum and gemstone jewellery, including the brand’s signature collections.
The product mix has been curated to address bridal demand, festive buying cycles, gifting segments and everyday wear, reflecting evolving consumer preferences in urban markets, the company said in a release here.
Commenting on the expansion, M.P. Ahammad, Chairman, Malabar Group, said Hyderabad remains a strategically important market for the company, driven by sustained urban growth and rising disposable incomes. He noted that the Kokapet launch aligns with the group’s long-term strategy of deepening penetration in key cities while maintaining transparency, quality assurance and standardised retail practices.
