Hyderabad, Feb 27 (TNT): Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Friday alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government led by Arvind Kejriwal was brought down in the name of the “so-called liquor scam”, and claimed that the political fallout of the narrative also impacted the BRS in both the Assembly and Parliament elections.
In a post on X, KTR said that “Kavita Garu got justice in court today” and asserted that, in the same manner, all cases registered against BRS leaders would eventually be exposed as false, politically motivated and fabricated.
He further alleged that until the truth prevails, there would continue to be “reckless allegations” from the Congress and the BJP, amplified by what he described as media trials aimed at maligning and misleading.
Describing the situation as reflective of a troubling trend in “New India”, KTR said accusations were replacing evidence and media narratives were attempting to substitute due process.
He, however, expressed confidence that justice would ultimately prevail.
