Tirumala, Mar 11(TNT): Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be observed at the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple on March 17 in connection with the Ugadi Asthanam scheduled for March 19.
As part of the ritual, the temple is traditionally cleansed on the Tuesday preceding major festivals such as Ugadi, Anivara Asthanam, Annual Brahmotsavam, and Vaikuntha Ekadasi.
Due to the Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on March 17, VIP Break Darshans and Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva have been cancelled. Recommendation letters for VIP Break Darshan on March 16 will not be accepted, except for protocol dignitaries.
Similarly, on the occasion of Ugadi Asthanam on March 19, VIP Break Darshans are cancelled except for protocol dignitaries. Therefore, recommendation letters for VIP Break Darshan on March 18 will not be accepted.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has requested devotees to take note of these arrangements and cooperate.
