Kishan Reddy urges voters to support BJP candidate in upcoming municipal polls in Telangana

Palamuru (Mahabubnagar Dist.), Feb 4 (TNT): Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Wednesday urged voters to support BJP candidates in upcoming municipal elections to ensure corruption-free governance in Telangana.

Addressing the BJP Vijaya Sankalpa Sammelan here, Kishan Reddy asserted that Palamuru has a deep-rooted association with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and described it as a stronghold of the saffron party.

Welcoming party’s National President Nitin Nabin on his maiden visit to Telangana after assuming charge, he said BJP would expand its base across the State under the leadership of Nabin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He targeted the Congress government led by Revanth Reddy, alleging failure to implement election promises except the free bus scheme.

He also accused the previous K. Chandrashekar Rao-led BRS government of large-scale corruption and illegal phone tapping, and claimed the current government had failed to act against those responsible.

Highlighting BJP’s recent successes in municipal bodies in Palamuru and nearby towns, he expressed confidence that the party would win the upcoming municipal elections.

He also said the Centre was investing about ₹50,000 crore in a high-speed railway elevated corridor passing through Palamuru, reflecting the BJP-led Union government’s commitment to regional development.
