Mumbai, Mar 26 (TNT): JSW Motors Limited, the new energy passenger vehicle arm of the JSW Group, on Thursday announced a long-term strategic partnership with Dassault Systèmes to enhance the design, engineering and manufacturing of its upcoming product portfolio.
As part of the collaboration, JSW Motors will deploy Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform as the core digital backbone for its range of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), enabling integrated product lifecycle management across development and production stages.
Commenting on the partnership, Ranjan Nayak, CEO of JSW Motors Limited, said the company is building a technology-driven mobility ecosystem engineered in India with global standards.
He added that the partnership will help embed advanced digital capabilities across the vehicle lifecycle, from design to manufacturing, while also accelerating timelines and improving quality.
He further noted that the company is in advanced discussions with domestic suppliers to deepen localisation and strengthen India’s automotive supply chain.
Deepak NG, Managing Director, India, Dassault Systèmes, said the collaboration will enable JSW Motors to manage the increasing complexity of software-defined vehicles and integrate processes across the value chain.
He added that the 3DEXPERIENCE platform will facilitate the creation of virtual twins of products and processes, driving innovation, efficiency and scalability in a rapidly evolving automotive market.
JSW Motors said the partnership will support the development of a globally benchmarked automotive ecosystem in India by combining local manufacturing capabilities with advanced global technologies.
The company is also implementing an integrated Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ecosystem and a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) on the same platform, ensuring seamless digital continuity and end-to-end traceability.
The initiative is expected to strengthen JSW Motors’ readiness to deliver globally competitive, future-ready vehicles tailored to the Indian market while enhancing domestic value creation and supply chain resilience.
