Itineris set up Global Technology & Innovation Centre in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 26 (TNT): Itineris, a global leader in SaaS solutions for utilities, on Thursday announced the launch of its Global Technology and Innovation Centre in Hyderabad, strengthening its presence in India and expanding its global engineering operations. 

The new hub will support core product development for the company’s UMAX Utility Suite and Verity platforms, which are used by utilities in North America and Europe, and is expected to scale up to about 150 professionals over the next 18 to 24 months, the IT company said in a release here.

The facility was inaugurated in the presence of Telangana government officials and senior company executives, who reviewed the centre’s capabilities and discussed Hyderabad’s growing role in developing mission-critical technology for global energy and water utilities.

The hub is being established in partnership with ANSR, which will support talent acquisition and operational infrastructure to build a scalable engineering and innovation centre aligned with Itineris’ global strategy.

The company said the expansion reflects its long-term commitment to India and aims to strengthen its ability to deliver AI-driven, next-generation technology solutions for utilities worldwide.

Itineris CEO Edgard Vermeersch said strengthening the Hyderabad hub would enhance the company’s ability to deliver reliable, AI-driven platforms for utilities worldwide, particularly in clean-energy and water-infrastructure systems.

With over 550 professionals across the US, Belgium, the UK and India, Itineris delivers dependable, future-ready platforms for utilities worldwide.

The establishment of the Hyderabad hub reflects the company’s long-term confidence in India’s technology capabilities and strengthens its ability to support utilities across the globe with AI-driven, next-generation solutions.
