Ajay Misra, General Officer Commanding, Telangana & Andhra Sub Area, on Tuesday underscored the need for integrated responses to address complex security challenges.
Speaking at a multi-agency security dialogue, Ex–TASA SHAKTI, organised by Headquarters Telangana & Andhra Sub Area (HQ TASA) at Secunderabad Military Station here, Misra said, “The complexities of modern security threats require a unified response from all stakeholders. This dialogue is a step towards achieving that goal.”
He said the successful conduct of Ex–TASA SHAKTI marked an important step in deepening inter-agency cooperation and strengthening collaborative frameworks in the interest of national security.
According to a defence release, the exercise brought together representatives from the Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Telangana State Police, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, National Security Guard, Indian Railways, Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police, along with senior officials from the civil administrations of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The dialogue focused on emerging security challenges and evolving trends in disaster management and relief operations.
It provided a platform for participating agencies to exchange best practices, share operational experience and enhance coordination mechanisms to ensure security across their respective areas of responsibility.
