Hyderabad, Mar 4 (TNT) : Rajendra Nagar Police, in coordination with the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW), arrested a foreign national drug peddler and his associate on Tuesday.
Seizing 150 grams of MDMA, a knife, and four mobile phones valued at around Rs 25 lakh frofm the accused, police said here.
The primary accused, Al-Aqar Abdurabu Mohammed Abdurabu, 37, a Yemeni national, has multiple previous NDPS cases in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
His associate, Hasan W.A. Hashem, 28, a Palestinian national from Bangalore, assisted in drug procurement and distribution.
Police said the duo targeted students, IT professionals, and others, using dead-drop and direct delivery methods. Authorities have urged the public to report drug-related information.
