Hyderabad, Apr 5 (TNT):Brainovision Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., known for nurturing innovators, entrepreneurs and future leaders through mentorship, organised Hackathon 2026 here on Sunday in association with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU), Kukatpally.
Out of 1200 entries received across the country for he national-level hackathon, 900 participants forming 300 teams were shortlisted for the final round, representing 85 colleges.
Brainovision Founder and CEO Ganesh Nagu Doddi said the organisation conducts high-impact hackathons and workshops such as HackFusion-2K26 and Mind Sprint 2K25, aimed at enabling students to solve industry-level data and software challenges.
He said the events, typically spanning over 36 hours, focus on domains including artificial intelligence, web development, data analytics and deep technology, providing hands-on experience along with certification and networking opportunities.
The hackathon featured 32 jury members from leading IT firms including Infosys, Deloitte and Microsoft, among others.
Addressing the valedictory and prize distribution ceremony, JNTU Vice-Chancellor Prof D T Kishen Kumar Reddy, the chief guest, said such initiatives encourage students to work on real-world problems, enhancing their confidence and career prospects.
A total prize money of ₹75,000 was awarded to 15 teams for their projects.
