Hundreds from Maheshwaram assembly constituency joined in BJP in Telangana

Hyderabad, Mar 14 (TNT): In a significant political development, hundreds of workers and members from various colony federations under the Maheshwaram Assembly Constituency joined the BJP here on Saturday.

The induction was held at the BJP State Office under the leadership of O. Narsimha Reddy, in the presence of State President N. Ramchander Rao, who formally welcomed the new members by draping them with party scarves.

Addressing the gathering, Rao said the influx reflects growing public support for the BJP due to the “visionary leadership” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party’s fight against the “anti-people policies” of the Congress government in Telangana.

Rao dismissed claims of a gas cylinder shortage, accusing Congress of deliberately spreading misinformation to create artificial panic.

He said while national demand is 55 lakh cylinders, Congress-induced panic inflated demand to 76 lakh, with leaders in Maharashtra allegedly caught hoarding cylinders illegally.

Rao further praised PM Modi for securing India’s energy interests amid the Iran-Israel conflict and shielding citizens from global price hikes.

On the Musi project, Rao criticised the Telangana government for displacing poor families instead of preventing industrial waste from entering the river or building treatment plants.

Drawing comparisons with BJP rehabilitation efforts in Gujarat’s Sabarmati project, he warned that the party will not remain silent against the “anti-national activities” of the Congress, false propaganda, and displacement of the poor in Hyderabad.

BJP MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, MLC Anji Reddy, District President Raj Bhupal Goud, Maheshwaram MLA candidate Andela Sriramulu, and senior state officials including N.V. Subhash attended the event along with colony representatives.
