ku (West Godavari Dist), Feb 5 (TNT): In a significant moment of national and international recognition, the organizers of the Largest Human Formation of a Star Using Candles were felicitated by the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records for successfully creating a historic visual spectacle at Tanuku in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on December 15, 2025.
The record certificates were formally presented by Noel Swarnajit Sen, Former Director General of Police (IPS), along with Dr. J. Chiranjeevi, Founder of Ashirwad Global Learning Center.
The honours were received by Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr. Mathew Meagher and Rev. O. Manoj Bob, representing the organizing committee.
Several key contributors who played a vital role in planning and execution were also present, including Rev. G. Timothy Raju, Bishop B. David Raju, Rev. A. Sam Bob, Rev. R. Salmon Joseph, Rev. E. Vijay Prasad, Rev. P. I. Brenham, Rev. K. Blessing Raju, Rev. K. S. Raju, Rev. K. David Babu, Rev. A. Reddiah, Rev. S. Krupavaram, Rev. G. Joshua and Rev. B. Yesu Ratnam.
The large-scale candlelight formation witnessed massive public participation and precise coordination, symbolising unity, peace and collective responsibility.
Record authorities praised the effort for its strong social message and flawless execution.
Expressing gratitude, the organizers thanked volunteers, participants and supporters whose cooperation made the achievement possible.
The recognition by both record bodies, they said, stands as a testament to teamwork, vision and community spirit, and is expected to inspire similar initiatives promoting social awareness and harmony in the future.
