Hyderabad, Mar 21 (TNT):The FLO Hyderabad on Saturday marked its 25th year, announcing plans for Silver Jubilee celebrations and an awards ceremony at its Annual Session.
The event also witnessed a leadership transition, with Seetha Reddy Gaddam assuming charge as Chairperson of FLO Hyderabad, succeeding Prathibha Kunda, while Khushboo Daga took over as Chairperson of YFLO Hyderabad from Pallavi Jain.
The change of guard was formalised through a ceremonial exchange of medals and signing of the charter.
Padma Shri awardee and noted Kuchipudi exponent Deepika Reddy attended as Chief Guest and underscored the importance of dedication, equality and respect for women.
Outgoing Chairperson Prathibha Kunda said her tenure, themed “Power to Empower,” focused on collaboration and empowerment through multiple initiatives including speaker sessions, workshops and programmes benefiting women and young girls.
New Chairperson Seetha Reddy Gaddam outlined her vision of “Engage, Empower, Elevate,” with emphasis on strengthening initiatives such as skill development, digital empowerment and support for women-led enterprises, along with revival of traditional arts.
YFLO Chairperson Khushboo Daga said her focus would be on capability building, cross-sector learning and fostering holistic growth among members.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to women’s empowerment and inclusive growth as it enters its milestone year, with Silver Jubilee celebrations expected to further expand its impact.
