Equal Priority for Welfare and Development: AP Min. Subhash

Kakinada, Feb 16 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Minister for Labor, Vasamsetti Subhash, on Monday stated that the government is moving forward with a policy of giving equal priority to welfare and development, and that people are satisfied with the progress achieved over the past eighteen months.

Speaking after performing Bhoomi Pooja for road development works in Kajuluru mandal in the district,  Subhash said the projects include Rs. 2 crore road works from Vunduru Bridge to Patavala in Kajuluru mandal and a Rs. 40 lakh Cheduvada approach road from Gollapalem to Kuyyeru.

The Minister emphasized that a strong road network is vital for rural development and that improved transport facilities would significantly enhance living standards in villages.

He said the coalition government is according top priority to strengthening basic amenities in rural areas. So far, developmental works worth Rs. 150 crore have been taken up in the Ramachandrapuram constituency, he added.

Agricultural Market Committee Chairman Akkala Riswanth Rai, Director Dadala Nagarjuna, R&B AE Lakshmi Prasanna, Mandal Jana Sena Party president Bonda Venkanna, Manjeru MPTC Gandi Manikantha, Manjeru Society President Dharmaraju, Kolanka Society President Bonda Venkata Narasimha Naidu, and Uppimilli MPTC Yalla Krishnamurty were among those who attended the programme.
