CPI to emerge as strong political force: Sr. Leader

Kakinada, March 1 (TNT): CPI senior leader and state secretariat member Thatipaka Madhu claimed that the CPI party would soon  be emerged as a strong political force in the state.

Launching the ` Gadapa Gadapa ku’ programme in the city here on Sunday , Madhu said they would build peoples movements against spiraling prices of essential commodities, besides land mafia, Mining mafia and Liquor Mafias and peoples movements would be organised on the people’s problems for which he said financial assistance is needed from the people .

He launched the Gadapa Gadapaku  programme at Rellipeta ,the predominant residential area of Municipal workers  and later in 15 and 16 th wards  seeking peoples contributions ‘.

Madhu said that the Gadapa Gadapaku programme would be continued till March 15 covering fifty wards in the city and also in places such as Samalkot, Pithapuram, Jaggampeta, Yelesweram, Uppada Kothapalli.

CPI district secretary K Bodakonda, district joint secretary Thokala Prasad, district executive members Bobbili Srinivas, Mahila Samakhya district secretary  A . Bhavani, Municipal workers union leaders Satyanarayana, Rajesh , Nimmakayala Malleswerarao. S Kumary, Bhagyavati, Syamala , Ammaji and Balakrishna  took part in the programme .
