New Delhi, Mar 5 (TNT): The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Thursday announced its candidates for the upcoming 2026 biennial elections to the Rajya Sabha.
The list was approved by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.
According to an official press release issued by AICC General Secretary K. C. Venugopal , the following leaders have been nominated to contest the Rajya Sabha elections as Congress candidates from their respective states:
- Chhattisgarh: Phulo Devi Netam
- Haryana: Karamvir Singh Boudh
- Himachal Pradesh: Anurag Sharma
- Tamil Nadu: M. Christopher Tilak
- Telangana: Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Vem Narendra Reddy
The announcement marks the party’s preparations for the Rajya Sabha biennial polls scheduled later this year, with the candidates representing a mix of experienced leaders and regional representatives.
