Hyderabad, Mar 19 (TNT): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday indicated that the upcoming state budget would be acceptable to all sections of society and serve as a roadmap for the state’s progress.
Bhatti will present the state’s annual budget for 2026-27 in the Assembly on Friday , with the session continuing until March 30.
The budget is expected to prioritise infrastructure, agriculture and urban development, with the total outlay likely to be in the range of ₹3.17 lakh crore to ₹3.22 lakh crore, according to sources.
Participating in Ugadi celebrations held at Gandhi Bhavan here, organised by TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, Bhatti conveyed festive greetings to the people after attending the Panchangam recital.
He expressed hope that under the people’s government formed in “Indiramma Rajyam”, all citizens would live in happiness and prosperity.
Wishing for the ‘Parabhava’ year to bring defeat to evil forces, he said the state should flourish with agricultural abundance.
Bhatti reiterated that under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the government is committed to safeguarding the people and fulfilling every promise made during elections.
He also expressed hope that all sectors in the state would witness strong growth, particularly emphasising better employment opportunities for the youth of Telangana.
Extending Ugadi wishes, he said every family should celebrate the festival with joy and appreciated party workers for organising the event successfully.
