Hyderabad, Mar 20 (TNT): Minister for Minority Welfare and Public Enterprises Mohammed Azharuddin on Friday extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the people of Telangana, highlighting the state’s strong tradition of communal harmony and inclusive development.
In a message, the Minister expressed confidence that the festival would bring happiness, success, and progress to all sections of society.
He said the holy month of Ramadan fosters empathy, compassion, and a spirit of sharing through fasting and acts of worship.
“Eid is a time to share happiness and celebrate together,” he said, adding that people of Telangana have always observed festivals in harmony, reflecting the state’s culture of unity and brotherhood.
Azharuddin noted that this tradition of communal harmony is a strong foundation for continued progress and social cohesion in the state.
Referring to the government’s commitment, he said that under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Telangana is strengthening its secular values while focusing on the educational and economic development of minorities.
Reiterating the Chief Minister’s message delivered during the Daawat-e-Iftar earlier this month, he said the government is committed to providing equal opportunities for progress and development to every citizen, including minorities.
The Minister also assured that the government remains dedicated to ensuring the safety, dignity, and rights of all citizens across the state.
