ASRHMC, UARDT Organise Rural Health Camp and Awareness Drive in Tadepalligudem

Tadepalligudem (Andhra Pradesh), Apr 8 (TNT): ASR Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital in collaboration with Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust (UARDT)  organised a rural medical camp and health awareness drive here on Wednesday as part of the ongoing World Homoeopathy Awareness Week celebrations.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Ananda Kumar Pingali, Principal of ASR Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, and Arla Mahesh Kumar, Medical Officer at the institution, who actively participated in clinical consultations and outreach activities.

As part of the initiative, a team of doctors provided free medical check-ups and consultations, addressing various acute and chronic health issues among residents.

Health awareness sessions were also held to educate the public on the role of homoeopathy in holistic healthcare and the importance of preventive health practices for community well-being.

Following medical examinations, essential medicines were distributed to patients to provide immediate treatment support.

The organisers said the initiative aimed to bridge the gap between medical institutions and rural communities by ensuring access to quality healthcare advice and treatment for underserved populations.

Volunteers from UARD Trust, including Pulla Babi and D. Ramakrishna, along with interns and students from ASRHMC, participated in the programme and assisted in patient coordination and health education.
