Apollo Hospitals Marks 1,000 Apollo Pharmacy Stores in Telangana

Hyderabad, Feb 28 (TNT): Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Vice Chairperson – CSR, Apollo Hospitals, inaugurated the 1,000th Apollo Pharmacy store in Telangana on Saturday, marking a major milestone in expanding access to quality healthcare across the state.

With this achievement, India’s largest pharmacy network now has a presence in all 33 districts of Telangana.

The network operates over 1,000 stores in the state, provides access to more than 50,000 medicines and wellness products, and services over 1.65 lakh medicine orders daily.

It employs more than 10,000 people across its retail, digital, and supply chain ecosystem, while its digital platform Apollo 24/7 has over 25 lakh users.

Apollo plans to add more than 200 new pharmacy stores in Telangana over the next three years, further strengthening healthcare access in urban and semi-urban areas, the hospitals said in a release here.

Speaking on the occasion, Upasana Kamineni Konidela said the milestone was not just about expanding healthcare access but also about generating meaningful and sustainable employment, particularly for women.

She emphasized the company’s commitment to creating inclusive workplaces that offer stable careers, leadership opportunities, and financial independence.

Through its omni-channel platform Apollo 24/7, the group provides integrated healthcare services, including teleconsultations with Apollo doctors, diagnostic services, and customized insurance solutions, enabling patients to access care from home.
