Kakinada, Jan 30 (TNT) : Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh on Friday alleged that the opposision YSRCP was deliberately spreading misinformation over the Tirumala laddu issue.
Addressing a coordination meeting of TDP workers and leaders from the Kakinada Rural constituency, Lokesh said that during the previous government’s tenure, tender norms for ghee procurement were altered, allowing smaller companies to supply inferior material.
He claimed that laboratory tests conducted under a central government institution after the coalition came to power revealed the presence of animal fat and vegetable oil in laddu samples. He urged party workers to stay alert and clearly explain the facts to the public.
