Amaravati, Feb 23 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Chairman Moshen Raju has issued notices to Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) belonging to the YSR Congress Party who recently submitted their resignations, directing them to appear in person and explain their decision.
According to official sources here on Monday, Jayamangalam Venkataramana has been asked to appear before the Chairman on February 25.
MLCs Balli Kalyan Chakravarthy and Marri Rajasekhar have been directed to appear on February 26.
Similarly, Pothula Sunitha and Karri Padmasri have been served notices to appear before the Chairman on February 27.
The Chairman has sought a personal explanation from the members regarding their resignations before taking a decision on whether to accept them, in accordance with established legislative procedure.
