Tirumala, Mar 31 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy at the Tirumala temple on Tuesday along with his family members.
On arrival at the temple’s Mahadwaram, the Governor was received by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra, Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, and Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Murali Krishna.
Temple priests accorded him a traditional welcome with Istikapal honours.
Following the darshan, Vedic scholars rendered Vedasirvachanam to the Governor at the Ranganayakula Mandapam inside the temple complex.
On the occasion, TTD officials presented him with Theertha Prasadams and a portrait of Lord Venkateswara.
