AP going to reap double engine Govt benefits: Economist

Kakinada, Feb 15 (TNT) : Noted chartered accountant and former BJP district president  Chilukuri Ramkumar on Sunday opined that the state Budget is reflecting the coordinated efforts of both the state and central governments and considered to set right the derailed economic situation .

When considered the allocations made to various departments in central budget and the state budget , both the governments appears  working in perfect coordination. It is very clear that Andhra Pradesh people are going to reap the benefits of double engine government’ he said in a statement here on Sunday .

He said the state was a total wreck in previous regime and the present government’s budget is a correct step in right direction to set right the derailed economy .

Allocation of  Rs.6,000 Cr for capital construction ,Rs.13,934 Cr for power sector, Rs.13,546 Cr for roads and Ports construction, Rs.8,365 Cr for VBG Ramji scheme , Rs.1037 Cr for Swacch Bharat is welcoming, he said.

Similarly as an effort to end regional inequalities, allotting  Rs.28,000 Cr  for North Andhra  and Rs.30,000 Cr for Rayalaseema is a correct step in right direction ,Ramkumar said and hoped the government would concentrate  on ways of income generation  to make up the revenue deficit and the monetary deficit.
