AP CM Naidu to Attend Mega Housewarming Drive in Sullurpet, 2.5 Lakh Houses to Be Handed Over

Amaravati, Mar 29 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will participate in a large-scale housewarming programme in Sullurupeta constituency of Tirupati district on Monday as part of the state government’s housing initiative.

Under the second phase, around 2.5 lakh housewarming ceremonies will be held simultaneously across the state. The Chief Minister will launch the programme from Pudur in Naidupeta mandal, where he will distribute about 1 lakh TIDCO houses, while another 1.5 lakh houses will be handed over to beneficiaries across Andhra Pradesh.

Officials said this marks the second major phase of house distribution since the coalition government assumed office, following the earlier distribution of nearly 3 lakh houses in November last year.

Naidu is scheduled to personally hand over houses, participate in housewarming ceremonies and interact with beneficiaries during the visit.

He will later address a public meeting and hold a review with party leaders and workers of the constituency.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister will travel to Tirupati to attend the first anniversary celebrations of the P4 poverty eradication initiative at the Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium in Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam.

Officials said the programme is part of the government’s efforts to provide housing to eligible beneficiaries and strengthen welfare initiatives across the state.
