Amaravathi, Feb 19 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Friday, where the state government is scheduled to sign multiple agreements aimed at strengthening artificial intelligence infrastructure and skill development in Andhra Pradesh.
According to officials, the Chief Minister will first travel to Jaipur this evening to attend a private function before arriving in Delhi on Friday morning and proceeding to the summit venue.
At 9:30 a.m., Naidu will take part in a plenary session titled “AI Accelerators: Fueling India’s Economic Growth,” along with Assam Chief Minster Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Minister Jitin Prasada and representatives from Tata Consultancy Services.
The Andhra Pradesh government will sign a memorandum of understanding with IBM to provide AI, quantum technology and cybersecurity training to one million youth in the state.
Another agreement will be signed with United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC) for the establishment of a Quantum and AI Centre of Excellence.
An MoU will also be inked with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) to set up a Quantum AI University in Andhra Pradesh.
Indian Institute of Technology Madras will collaborate with the state government on an Artificial Intelligence Tutor initiative, while NVIDIA will partner in establishing AI Living Labs.
During the summit, the Chief Minister is scheduled to meet Sridhar Gadhi of Quantela Inc..
At noon, he will participate in a roundtable organised by the World Economic Forum on “Competitiveness through Artificial Intelligence,” along with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and WEF CEO Børge Brende.
Later in the day, Naidu will meet a delegation from the United Kingdom, including UK Minister for AI and Online Safety Kanishka Narayan, UK High Commissioner to India Lindy Cameron and Minister Counsellor for Climate, Science and Technology Sally Taylor.
He is also scheduled to hold meetings with Aramco India Managing Director Abdulrahman Al-Tukair, Shantanu Narayen of Adobe and Mike Haley, AI Head at Autodesk.
The Chief Minister will return to Amaravati on Friday evening, the officials added.
