All India Police Football Championship in Hyderabad : CISF, BSF, CRPF Register Wins; Sikkim–Maharashtra Match Ends in Draw

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (TNT): Several teams registered victories while one match ended in a draw on Day-4 of the 74th B.N. Mullick Memorial All India Police Football Championship (Men & Women) being held in Hyderabad on Thursday.

In the men’s category matches played on March 26, CISF defeated Jharkhand 6-0, while the match between Sikkim and Maharashtra ended in a 1-1 draw.

Andaman & Nicobar Islands secured a 3-1 win over Haryana, while BSF beat Bihar 8-1 in a dominant performance.

In other matches, Manipur defeated Arunachal Pradesh 2-0, Odisha edged past Gujarat 1-0, and Rajasthan overcame Assam Rifles 3-1.

CRPF registered a convincing 14-2 win against Andhra Pradesh, while Punjab defeated RPF 4-0. ITBP secured a narrow 1-0 win over Uttar Pradesh, and Goa beat Himachal Pradesh 6-0.

The championship, being hosted in Hyderabad, is witnessing participation from teams across various states and central police forces, with matches being played at multiple venues including Sreenidhi FC Grounds, Artillery Grounds and National Police Academy Grounds.

The tournament will continue till April 5.
