Visakhapatnam, Feb 11 (TNT): Adani Gangavaram Port has posted a strong business performance in FY 2025–26 by handling 554 cargo vessels, surpassing its earlier all-time high of 552 vessels in FY 2023–24.
The milestone signals sustained growth in volumes and rising market confidence in the port’s operational and commercial capabilities, the port said in a release here on Wednesday .
Industry observers say the record highlights the port’s robust infrastructure, faster vessel turnaround times and integrated logistics solutions, which have made it a preferred choice for bulk cargo operators and global shipping lines.
The performance also reflects improved asset utilisation, operational efficiency and customer retention, key metrics in the port and logistics sector.
According to port officials, the growth has been driven by a customer-centric business model, proactive coordination with trade partners and investments in technology-enabled cargo handling systems, enabling the port to manage higher traffic with efficiency and safety.
Management stated that the achievement strengthens the port’s competitive positioning on India’s east coast and aligns with its long-term strategy of expanding capacity, enhancing productivity and supporting regional trade growth.
