Hyderabad, Mar 14 (TNT): Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar on Saturday evening flagged off the first-ever “Glow Run” at Ramoji Film City, which saw enthusiastic participation from more than 2,500 runners.
The event blended fitness and entertainment as participants ran through neon-lit cinematic avenues inside the film city.
Young cricketer Drithi Kesari attended the event as the guest of honour.
The programme was also attended by Ms Ch. Vijayeswari, Managing Director, Ramoji Film City and Mr Sujay, Director, ETV Network who was himself an eager participant of the event.
The other dignitaries who joined the ‘RUN’ were Ms Brihathi Cherukuri, Director, ETV Bharat and her husband Mr Venkat Akshay, Director, Krishnaiah Projects Pvt. Ltd.
The Glow Run catered to both serious athletes and casual enthusiasts through three categories – 10 km, 5 km & 3km.
Under 10 km and 5 km timed runs, professional runners competed with timed BIB , while families and first-time runners joined 3 km Fun Run.
The event was well-organized with dedicated on-route hydration and medical support, ensuring participants’ safety and peak performance.
The top three male and female runners under 10 KM & 5 KM categories were recognized for their speed and endurance. Winners were awarded finisher medals and cash prizes.
The participants captured the picture-perfect moments, enjoyed the post-run refreshments and high-energy DJ Glow party – taking home a lifetime of glowing memories.
The Cine-Magical Glow Run was presented by CASAGRAND and supported by the prestigious partners – Kavion.ai, Margadarsi Chit Fund, Leo ION, Oliva Clinic, Renova Hospitals, Decathlon, ANYTIME FITNESS & Priya Sabala – Goodness of Millets.
