TTD Honours 160 Retired Employees; Serving Srivari Devotees is a Blessing, Says EO
Tirupati, July 31 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra on Friday said serving devotees in the sacred abode of Lord Venkateswara is a rare blessing earned through one’s past good deeds.
Speaking at a felicitation programme organised for retired TTD employees at Mahathi Kalakshetram here, the EO commended the retirees for their dedicated service and urged them to share their experience and institutional knowledge with future generations of employees.
A total of 160 retired employees were honoured on the occasion, including 28 who retired on Friday and 132 who superannuated between January 1 and May 31 this year.
Ravichandra wished the retirees a healthy, happy and peaceful retired life under the blessings of Lord Venkateswara and said TTD would continue the annual felicitation programme as a gesture of gratitude for their services.
Earlier, TTD Joint Executive Officer Dr. A. Sharath said serving Lord Venkateswara was a rare privilege and observed that recognising retired employees would motivate future generations of TTD staff.
The EO and Joint Executive Officers felicitated the retirees with shawls and mementoes. They were also presented with Srivari Laddu Prasadam, Vada, jacket cloth, Theertham and Maha Prasadam, followed by Vedic blessings from temple priests.
Deputy Executive Officer (HR) Govindarajan, Welfare Deputy Executive Officer Anandaraju, senior officials, employee union representatives, retired employees and their family members attended the programme.
