Chalet Hotels Reports 10% Rise in Core Revenue in Q1 FY27
Mumbai, July 29 (TNT): Chalet Hotels Ltd on Wednesday reported a 10 per cent year-on-year increase in core revenue for the first quarter of FY27, driven by growth in its hospitality and commercial real estate businesses, while maintaining margin expansion.
The company reported total income (excluding residential business) of ₹514 crore, up from ₹469.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
EBITDA rose 15 per cent to ₹240 crore, while the EBITDA margin improved by 231 basis points to 46.7 per cent. Consolidated profit after tax stood at ₹86.1 crore, the company said in a release.
In the hospitality segment, revenue increased 9 per cent year-on-year to ₹418.5 crore, while EBITDA rose 11 per cent to ₹178.4 crore.
Revenue per available room (RevPAR) improved 6 per cent to ₹8,582, supported by strong performance from the company’s leisure portfolio.
The commercial real estate business reported an 18 per cent increase in revenue to ₹86.5 crore, with EBITDA rising 21 per cent to ₹73.5 crore.
Occupancy stood at 91 per cent, including a letter of intent signed for 66,000 sq ft of office space in Bengaluru.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Shwetank Singh said the company delivered a resilient performance despite geopolitical challenges, with domestic demand supporting growth.
He said the company’s hospitality and annuity businesses continued to witness strong momentum and expressed confidence about the outlook as projects including Taj Delhi International Airport and CIGNUS II, Powai near completion.
The company said its development pipeline remains on track, with work progressing on projects including Ritz-Carlton Hyderabad, Taj Delhi International Airport, CIGNUS II in Mumbai, Hyatt Regency Airoli, and an expansion project in Udaipur.
