AP CM Naidu Invites Taiwanese Investment in Electronics, Semiconductor Sectors
Amaravati, July 29 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday held talks with a high-level delegation of Taiwanese companies to explore investment opportunities in electronics, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing and technology sectors in the state.
The delegation comprised representatives of companies including Delta Electronics, BenQ, CTBC Bank, DIMERCO, Masterhill, Nan Pao Resins, Ever-Clear Environmental Engineering, Sheng Huei Tech, Tech-Top Engineering, K.S. Terminals, Sandsun, Zilei Construction & Engineering and Cappella Sports.
During the meeting, Naidu showcased Andhra Pradesh’s industrial ecosystem, logistics infrastructure and investor-friendly policies, highlighting the state’s focus on electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, information technology, advanced manufacturing and export-oriented industries.
He assured the delegation of policy stability, speedy approvals and proactive government support for investors.
The Taiwanese representatives shared their experiences of investing in India and discussed opportunities to expand their operations in Andhra Pradesh.
Both sides agreed to strengthen institutional engagement and cooperation in manufacturing, technology and industrial development.
Later, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh held discussions with the delegation on workforce development and skill enhancement.
The talks focused on preparing Andhra Pradesh’s youth for employment opportunities in Taiwan’s manufacturing and technology sectors through industry-oriented skill development, technical training and higher education partnerships.
The discussions also covered collaboration in electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, precision engineering, industrial automation and healthcare, besides initiatives such as Mandarin language training, industry certification, internships, student and faculty exchanges and joint research programmes.
The meetings are aimed at strengthening investment and industrial cooperation between Andhra Pradesh and Taiwanese industry while creating employment and skill development opportunities in the state.
