Secunderabad, Feb 14 (TNT): The Indian Army has opened the online registration and application window for recruitment under the Agniveer scheme for the Recruiting Year 2027, inviting eligible unmarried youth to apply through its official portal.
According to an official notification issued on Friday February 13, 2026, applications are being accepted online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from candidates belonging to all 33 districts of Telangana, falling under the jurisdiction of the Army Recruiting Office, Secunderabad.
Recruitment categories
The recruitment drive covers the following Agniveer categories:

Agniveer Tradesman (10th Pass)

Eligible candidates are permitted to apply for up to two categories based on their qualifications.

The online application window will close on April 1, 2026. Admit cards for the Online CEE, tentatively scheduled between June 1 and June 15, 2026, can be downloaded from the same website.

The Army has reiterated that the recruitment process is fully automated, fair and transparent, and warned candidates to remain cautious of touts and fraudsters claiming to influence selection. Officials emphasized that merit, preparation and hard work alone determine selection, and that no agents or intermediaries play any role in the recruitment process.
