Amazon Great Freedom Sale 2026 Begins August 7; Discounts and AI-Powered Shopping Experience
Bengaluru, July 29 (TNT): Amazon India announced that its Great Freedom Sale 2026 will commence from 12 midnight on August 7, bringing a host of offers across categories including smartphones, fashion, beauty, home, kitchen, large appliances, groceries and daily essentials.
The sale will feature Top 100 Deals, Blockbuster Deals, Trending Deals and 8 PM Deals, among other offers.
Customers can avail a 10 per cent instant discount on HDFC Bank Credit Card and EasyEMI transactions, along with cashback rewards of up to ₹2,000 and No-Cost EMI options on select credit and debit cards, the E-commernce giant said in a release here on Wednesday.
Amazon said shoppers can also benefit from exchange offers, instant bank discounts, Amazon Pay rewards and flexible payment options during the sale.
The company added that customers across the country will have access to seamless delivery services covering 100 per cent of serviceable pin codes.
AI-powered shopping tools
Amazon India said artificial intelligence-based features will help customers discover and purchase products more conveniently during the sale.
The company’s AI shopping assistant Rufus will enable customers to find personalised recommendations through natural language searches. Customers can also use Lens AI to discover products by uploading or clicking images.
Additional AI features include a 30 to 90-day price history tracker, price-drop alerts, AI Review Highlights that summarise customer reviews, buying guides and a personalised homepage experience based on individual preferences.
Amazon Pay benefits
Amazon Pay will offer additional savings and rewards during the Great Freedom Sale. Customers using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card can avail unlimited 5 per cent cashback for Prime members and 3 per cent cashback for non-Prime members, along with welcome rewards of up to ₹2,500.
Eligible customers can access instant credit of up to ₹60,000 through Amazon Pay Later and shop through the ₹99/day EMI store across mobiles, electronics, fashion and appliances.
Customers can also split purchases above ₹1,500 into three equal interest-free monthly instalments. Through Rewards Gold, users can earn assured 5 per cent cashback across 15-plus brands and categories, along with additional benefits including discounts for Prime members and cashback offers for all customers.
The Great Freedom Sale is aimed at offering customers greater affordability, convenience and a personalised shopping experience ahead of the festive season, the release added.
