TTD EO CALLS FOR MORE CREATIVE AND DEVOTIONAL SVBC PROGRAMMES
Tirupati, July 24 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra directed officials to produce creative, high-quality programmes on Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) that inspire greater devotion among devotees across the world.
During a review meeting held on Friday with TTD JEO and SVBC CEO Dr. A. Sharath, the EO reviewed the channel’s daily broadcasts and future programme plans.
The EO suggested developing simple and engaging programmes highlighting the significance of Tirumala’s temples, mandapams, prakarams, sacred theerthams, sub-shrines, and Srivari prasadams.
He said the programmes should effectively convey the spiritual glory of Tirumala and the greatness of Lord Venkateswara.
Stating that millions of devotees worldwide watch SVBC, the EO stressed that every programme should be interesting, devotional, and maintain the highest quality standards.
He also directed officials to introduce more innovative spiritual content based on devotees’ interests.
Earlier, Dr. Sharath informed the EO that the recently launched “Mahalakshmi Deepa Puja” programme, initiated with the support of HDPP, has received an encouraging response and will be expanded to rural areas.
He also said special spiritual, religious, and cultural programmes featuring renowned artists from across the country are being planned during the upcoming Srivari Brahmotsavams.
Before the review, the EO visited the model temple, inspected various SVBC studios, editing and spiritual content sections, and offered several suggestions.
He also advised the staff to use electricity and air conditioners judiciously and interacted with sanitation workers to enquire about their welfare.
SVBC Chief Programme Officer A.C. Sri and other officials were present.
