Anivara Asthanam held in Tirumala temple

irumala,  July 17 (TNT):  The Anivara Asthanam was observed in a traditional and devotional manner at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple here on Friday.

Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, and TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra participated in the sacred ceremony.

Anivara Asthanam is observed every year on Karkataka Sankranti, marking the beginning of Dakshinayana. Traditionally, it also marks the commencement of the temple’s annual financial accounts.

Though TTD now follows the April–March financial year, the age-old custom continues to be observed with great sanctity.

In the evening, Malayappa Swamy and His consorts will bless devotees on Pushpa Pallaki along the four Mada Streets.

TTD Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, Board Members Bhanu Prakash Reddy and Divakar Reddy, CVSO  Muralikrishna, District SP  Subbarayudu, Temple Deputy EO  Lokanatham, and other officials were also present.
