Hyderabad, Feb 11 (TNT): ixigo, India’s leading AI-driven travel platform, has strengthened its end-to-end travel ecosystem with the launch of Airport Cabs, a nationwide airport taxi booking service aimed at offering reliable, predictable, and cost-effective first- and last-mile connectivity.
The new service enables travellers to book cabs to and from major airports directly through the ixigo app or website, the company said in a release on Wednesday.
Users can schedule rides up to 90 days in advance, addressing a key pain point in airport trave last-minute cancellations and uncertain pick-ups.
The service is now live across 100+ cities and all major airports in India.
As part of its customer acquisition strategy, ixigo is offering 50 percent off up to ₹200 for first-time cab users, while returning customers can avail 20 percent off up to ₹100.
Travellers can choose from a wide range of vehicle options, including hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs/MPVs, luxury cars, and eco-friendly alternatives such as electric and CNG vehicles.
The company said fares are fully transparent, with airport entry charges, tolls, state taxes, and driver allowance bundled into the final price.
Pricing remains dynamic based on city, date, and travel time. Customers also get 30 minutes of free waiting time and can cancel bookings free of charge up to 30 minutes before pickup.
A 24×7 SOS support feature has been built in to handle emergencies, breakdowns, or accidents.
Commenting on the launch, Rajnish Kumar, Group Co-CEO of ixigo, said the move is a natural extension of the company’s core flights business. “Our users value convenience and predictability. With Airport Cabs, we’ve partnered with trusted operators across India to ensure on-time pickups and flexible options, reducing friction at every stage of the journey,” he said.
