Kakinada Collector Assures All-Out Efforts to Trace Missing Girl
Kakinada, July 9 (TNT): Kakinada District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad on Thursday visited Ch. Agraharam village in Tuni mandal and consoled the parents of Gnanesweri, the young girl who has been missing since June 6, assuring them of all possible support from the district administration to trace their daughter.
The Collector, accompanied by police and revenue officials, inspected the palm plantations surrounding the village and studied the area’s topography while reviewing the ongoing search operations.
He directed police officials to intensify the search on the hill located behind the family’s residence and suggested involving local residents familiar with the terrain to assist in the search operation.
Speaking to reporters, Harendhira Prasad said every possible effort was being made to trace the missing child and that the administration would also extend financial assistance to the family.
He appealed to the public to share any information about the whereabouts of Gnanesweri, assuring that those providing credible information leading to her trace would be suitably rewarded.
Tuni Tahsildar Prasad and senior police officials accompanied the Collector during the visit.
