GHMC sets up 16 SIR help desks in Hyderabad Dist.; officials to help voters fill Enumeration Form

Hyderabad, July 3 (TNT): The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation  has set up 16 Help Desks  in various assembly constituencies in Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) offices in Hyderabad District  to assist voters and citizens in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.

These help desks are aimed at guiding the public on the dos and don’ts of the SIR exercise, assisting in filling enumeration forms, and providing details of the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Assistant ERO (AERO), and Booth Level Officer (BLO) for respective households.

Each help desk is headed by an in-charge officer to ensure smooth facilitation and grievance support for voters.

Assembly-wise Help Desk Locations:

In 57 Musheerabad, the help desk has been set up at the Municipal Office, Domalguda. In 58 Malakpet, it is located at the Municipal Office, Government Quarters, Block B (2, 4 & 5). The 59 Amberpet help desk functions from the 6th floor of Abids Parking Complex.

In 60 Khairatabad, the facility is available at the Municipal Office, 1st floor, while in 61 Jubilee Hills, it is located at the Municipal Office near Yousufguda Check Post. The 62 Sanathnagar desk operates from Harihara Kalabhavan Municipal Office.

The 63 Nampally help desk is located opposite Sai Baba Temple, Guddi Malkapur. In 64 Karwan, it functions from the 2nd floor of the Khairatabad Municipal Office, while 65 Goshamahal is operating from the 4th floor of Abids Parking Complex.

In the old city, 66 Charminar has its help desk at the Municipal Office, Mugalpura, followed by 67 Chandrayangutta at Jangamet and 68 Yakutpura at Phool Bagh. The 69 Bahadurpura help desk is also located at Phool Bagh.

In the Secunderabad region, the 70 Secunderabad help desk has been set up beside the Secunderabad Court at the Municipal Office, while 71 Cantonment operates from the CEO Cantonment Board Office.

The Commissioner, GHMC Office at Tank Bund also hosts a dedicated help desk.

Officials said the initiative is part of efforts by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and election machinery to improve voter awareness and ensure error-free completion of the enumeration process.
