KIMS Hospitals Becomes World’s First Healthcare Network to Receive AACI Multi-Site Accreditation

Hyderabad, June 30 (TNT): KIMS Group of Hospitals has become the world’s first healthcare network to receive the AACI Multi-Site Accreditation from the American Accreditation Commission International, setting a new global benchmark in integrated healthcare quality, patient safety, governance and clinical excellence.

The accreditation covers seven KIMS hospitals operating under a unified quality management and governance framework, recognising the network’s ability to consistently implement internationally benchmarked standards across multiple facilities.

Unlike conventional accreditation programmes that assess individual hospitals separately, the AACI Multi-Site Accreditation evaluates an entire healthcare network as a single integrated system, the Hospitals said in a release here on Monday.

The assessment examines leadership, governance, patient safety, clinical excellence, standardised care delivery, risk management and continuous quality improvement across all participating hospitals.

Speaking on the achievement, B. Bhaskar Rao , Chairman & Managing Director, KIMS Group of Hospitals,  said the recognition reflects the collective efforts of clinicians, nurses, quality professionals, administrators and the leadership team.

He noted that after one KIMS hospital secured AACI accreditation three years ago, the group successfully implemented the same quality framework across six additional hospitals through standardised clinical protocols, robust governance systems and evidence-based practices.

KIMS Group Director Anita said the milestone was made possible by the coordinated efforts of doctors, nurses, quality teams, administrative staff and leadership across the seven hospitals.

She also acknowledged the contribution of Sushma Katuri, General Manager – Group Quality, KIMS Group,  for her pivotal role in achieving the accreditation.

Congratulating KIMS, Kreso Antonio Paliska, Group CEO of AACI said the hospital network had established a new global benchmark by demonstrating how leadership, quality and patient safety can become part of an organisation’s culture.

Dheeraj Khatore, Regional CEO – AACI India, Middle East (MENA) & Africa, said the recognition was more than an accreditation, describing it as a milestone for global healthcare that demonstrates the ability to deliver world-class quality consistently across multiple hospitals under a unified quality framework.

According to KIMS, the accreditation reinforces its commitment to innovation, accountability, operational excellence and continuous quality improvement while assuring patients that every accredited KIMS hospital follows the same internationally benchmarked standards for safe and high-quality healthcare.
