Ranga Reddy Raptors Hit Century as TJBL Day 4 Produces Thrilling Contests
Hyderabad, June 23 (TNT): Ranga Reddy Raptors, Warangal Stallions, Vikarabad Mambas and Nizam Royals emerged victorious in their respective matches on Day 4 of the Telangana Junior Basketball League (TJBL) being held at the K.V.R. Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Yousufguda on Monday.
The league, which aims to provide a competitive platform and professional pathway for emerging basketball talent in Telangana, has witnessed intense contests as teams vie for top honours.
In the Under-15 Girls category, Warangal Stallions registered a comfortable 52-38 win over Ranga Reddy Raptors.
The Under-15 Boys fixture saw Vikarabad Mambas outplay Nalgonda Speed Strikers 90-81 in a high-scoring encounter.
Nizam Royals secured a 56-44 victory over Hyderabad Hurricanes in the Under-18 Girls category.
The highlight of the day came in the Under-18 Boys match, where Ranga Reddy Raptors produced a dominant attacking display to defeat Warangal Stallions 100-76, becoming the first team in the tournament to breach the 100-point mark.
With the league entering a crucial phase, teams are battling hard for supremacy while young players continue to gain valuable exposure through structured competition.
The tournament will continue till June 28, with matches being played daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
