Four Members of Family Found Dead in Decomposed State in Nalgonda

Nalgonda (Telangana), June 22 (TNT): Four members of a family were found dead in a highly decomposed state at their residence in Telangana Colony on Sagar Road in Nalgonda town on Monday, police said.

According to preliminary information, the deaths are suspected to have occurred around four days ago.

The incident came to light after neighbours noticed a foul smell emanating from the house and alerted the police.

Police recovered all four bodies from the house, which was locked from the inside.

The deceased were identified as Mohammed Sultan, a bag business owner, and his wife Haseena, a private school teacher.

The identities of the other two deceased family members are yet to be officially confirmed.

As the bodies were in an advanced state of decomposition, police, along with forensic experts, had to break open the house to gain entry.

Nalgonda District Superintendent of Police Sharath Chandra Pawar visited the spot and reviewed the investigation. The Clues Team and forensic experts collected evidence from the scene to ascertain the exact cause of death and establish the timeline of the incident.

Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
