Missing boy traced, restored to family within few hours in Kakinada
Kakinada, June 22 (TNT): A three year old boy who is reportedly missing from the house in the early hours of Monday has been traced and restored to family members almost within a few hours of receiving a complaint by the Kakinada police.
Bommidi Lakshmi and Bommidi Ramakrishna of Pagadalapeta village Kakinada rural Mandal lodged a complaint to Indrapalem police at 3.30 am that their grandson three year old Sangadi Vinay Kumar alias Bablu went missing from the house.
The Kakinada police who are on alert in the backdrop of a girl missing under mysterious circumstances and remain untraced even after two weeks in Ch Agraharam near Tuni which caused a furore in the state , under the instructions from the SP Bindu Madhav and under the direct leadership of Rural circle Inspector Chaithanya Krishna swung into action .
Four investigation teams headed by sub inspectors of four rural police stations stretched their dragnet and on thorough search of village surroundings, roads, nearby colonies and achieved success in tracing the missing boy within few hours.
The boy was brought to the Indrapalem police station on due intimation to the SP Bindu Madhav and SDPO Manish Devaraj Patil and handed over him to the agitated grandparents .
It is stated that Boys mother was away in Gulf and father is staying apart.
The SP has complimented Rural CI Chaitanya Krishna and the four rural SIs for their swift action and detection bringing laurels to the department.
The district police office has issued certain suggestions to the people on ensuring safety of their children.
The police advise people not to leave five years below children alone and keep their residences main doors and gates closed so as children will not go out.
The Police further advise the people , to report to police whenever notice children or strangers moving under suspicious circumstances making it clear that safety of children is the common responsibility of family members ,society and the police as a whole .
