Telangana CM to address Massive ‘Rythu Bharosa’ Public Meeting at Chintakani on June 30

Chintakani (Khammam District), June 22 (TNT): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday announced that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will address a massive public meeting at Chintakani in Khammam district on June 30, with an expected attendance of around two lakh people.

Addressing a preparatory meeting with Congress leaders from the Madhira Assembly constituency, Bhatti said the event should be made a historic success, unprecedented in the constituency’s history.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister will formally launch the disbursement of Rythu Bharosa assistance by releasing funds directly into the bank accounts of farmers across the state, he said..

Bhatti described the programme as the first major public meeting being organised in the Madhira constituency after the Congress government assumed office.

He said the agriculture-centric region had been chosen for the launch of a scheme that would transfer financial assistance to crores of farmers with a single click.

He added that all state ministers, along with the Chief Minister, would participate in the event.

A special coordination meeting was held at Jagannadhapuram Cross Roads in Chintakani mandal, where Bhatti reviewed arrangements with Congress leaders and public representatives. He urged party cadres to undertake meticulous micro-planning to ensure smooth transportation and participation of farmers and the public.

He instructed that one in-charge be appointed for every 100 voters at the booth level and that detailed attendee lists be prepared.

To ensure effective management of the event, six committees will be constituted: the Mandal Organising Committee, Vehicle Monitoring Committee, Publicity Committee, Media Committee, Drinking Water Facilities Committee and Volunteers Committee.

Bhatti also suggested that Congress volunteers assist in managing entry points and escorting key leaders to the venue, reducing pressure on the police machinery.

Expressing confidence in the programme’s success, he said the meeting would reflect the government’s commitment to farmers’ welfare and demonstrate the strong public support enjoyed by the Congress government.

Meanwhile, Wyra MLA Malothu Ramdas Naik proposed naming the event “Rythu Ashirvada Sabha” and called upon party workers to make it the largest public gathering ever held in Telangana.

The meeting, chaired by District Congress President Nuthi Satyanarayana, was attended by corporation chairpersons, mandal-level leaders, booth in-charges, public representatives and district Congress functionaries.

Ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit, Bhatti, accompanied by Khammam District Collector Divakar TS and Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt, inspected potential venues in Chintakani mandal and reviewed arrangements for the proposed mega public meeting.
