Andhra Pradesh Distributes Over 2.41 Crore Enumeration Forms Under SIR Drive
Amaravati, June 21 (TNT) : The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Andhra Pradesh has gathered momentum, with more than 2.41 crore elector-specific Enumeration Forms (EFs) distributed across the state as part of the ongoing enumeration phase being conducted from June 15 to July 14, 2026.
According to the daily bulletin issued by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Andhra Pradesh, all 4.16 crore Enumeration Forms required for the revision exercise have been printed and supplied to Booth Level Officers (BLOs) across the state.
As of 4 p.m. on June 21, a total of 2,41,93,304 forms, accounting for 58.12 per cent of the state’s 4.16 crore electors, had been distributed. Further, 8,45,108 forms, or 2.03 per cent, had been digitised.
The electoral revision exercise is being carried out with the support of 46,397 Booth Level Officers appointed by Electoral Registration Officers with the approval of District Election Officers.
Among districts, Krishna recorded the highest distribution rate at 84.15 per cent, followed by Tirupati (81.30 per cent), Chittoor (80.59 per cent), Vizianagaram (75.78 per cent) and Anakapalli (74.73 per cent).
In terms of digitisation, Srikakulam led with 1,11,443 forms digitised, while Sri Sathya Sai district recorded the highest digitisation percentage at 5.41 per cent, followed by Srikakulam at 5.87 per cent and Bapatla at 4.04 per cent.
The enumeration phase, which began on June 15, will continue until July 14 as part of the Election Commission’s efforts to update and verify electoral rolls across Andhra Pradesh.
Chief Electoral Officer Vivek Yadav said the revision process is progressing as scheduled with district administrations and field-level election machinery working to ensure comprehensive voter coverage.
