Bhupalpally, Feb 8 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday launched a blistering attack on BRS and BJP, alleging that the BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) stood for “Blackmail Rajakiya Samithi ” and accusing former CM K. Chandrashekar Rao and his family of amassing wealth and grabbing lands through phone tapping during their 10-year rule.
Addressing a public meeting in connection with Municipal election campaign at Chelpur in Bhupalpally district, Revanth alleged that businessmen were blackmailed and properties forcibly transferred, asserting that BRS leaders are now facing the consequences of “unpardonable sins.” He accused Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy of shielding KCR and KTR by not pushing for CBI probes into the Kaleshwaram project and Formula-E race cases.
Revanth also dismissed BRS claims on district reorganisation as false propaganda, clarifying that there is no move to abolish or create districts without Assembly discussion.
He warned voters against supporting BRS and BJP in upcoming municipal elections, calling them “two sides of the same coin,” and appealed for support to Congress, assuring resolution of Singareni workers’ issues and continued welfare measures.
