Municipal Polls: “Elect Congress, Development Is My Responsibility” : Telangana Dy CM

Madhira (Khammam Dist), Feb 7 (TNT): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Saturday made a strong political appeal to voters to elect Indian National Congress and alliance candidates in the Madhira municipal elections, asserting that the responsibility for the town’s development rests with him.

Addressing a public meeting after a rally, Bhatti said Madhira is his lifeline and pledged to transform it into a model town remembered for the next 50 years.

He promised world-class civic infrastructure, including underground power and drainage systems, uninterrupted electricity, CC roads, and a Hyderabad-style Outer Ring Road to enable town expansion.

He said Congress, under the leadership of AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, senior leader Rahul Gandhi, and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is committed to inclusive development and welfare-oriented governance.

The Deputy CM highlighted plans to strengthen education through new colleges, an upgraded ITI, and an Ambedkar Knowledge Center, along with advanced medical, safety, housing, and employment facilities.

He assured corruption-free development and urged voters to back Congress candidates to ensure rapid implementation of projects and long-term growth for Madhira.
